Assistant Principal

Becca Giese

My journey in education began at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, where I pursued my passion for teaching by completing a degree in Elementary Education. It was here that I laid the groundwork for my future career, learning the fundamentals of effective teaching and nurturing a love for guiding young minds.

Driven by a desire to further my impact in the field of education, I pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership at Texas State University. This experience equipped me with the skills and knowledge needed to lead with confidence and vision, preparing me for the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead.

Throughout my educational journey, my love for travel and family has remained steadfast. Whether exploring new destinations or cherishing moments with loved ones, these experiences have enriched my life and provided inspiration in my role as an educator.

Outside of the classroom, my interests in cows, the Houston Astros, and the Longhorns have added depth and vibrancy to my life. These passions serve as sources of joy and connection, reflecting my Texan roots and enriching my experiences both professionally and personally.

With fourteen years of experience in education, including seven years in Hippo Nation, I have had the privilege of serving students and communities with dedication and enthusiasm. Certified in General Education, Special Education, English as a Second Language, and holding my Principal certification, I am committed to providing quality education and support to every student I encounter.

I am filled with excitement and anticipation for the journey ahead. With a firm foundation in education, a passion for learning, and a heart for serving students, I am eager to lead and inspire alongside the talented educators and staff at our school. With a deep commitment to student success and a vision for excellence, I am confident that together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of our students and the community at large.
